Welcome to Lobbi!

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Lobbi ("we", "our", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the Lobbi mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Lobbi.

  1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Lobbi. If you are between 13 and 17 years old, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements. We reserve the right to request proof of age at any time and to terminate accounts that do not meet our eligibility requirements.

  1. Account Registration

To use Lobbi, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, all activities that occur under your account, providing accurate, current, and complete profile information, and notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You may not create accounts for others, use another person's account, or transfer your account to any third party.

  1. End User License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on a device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

You acknowledge that this license is between you and Lobbi, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple") or Google LLC ("Google"). Lobbi, not Apple or Google, is solely responsible for the App and its content.

  1. Acceptable Use

You agree not to harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate other users; post or transmit offensive, discriminatory, hateful, sexually explicit, or violent content; impersonate other users, public figures, or Lobbi staff; use Lobbi for any illegal activities; attempt to manipulate the matchmaking, rating, or leaderboard systems; create multiple accounts to circumvent bans, blocks, or restrictions; share other users' personal information without their consent; solicit users for commercial purposes, scams, or external services; reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the App; use bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the App; or interfere with or disrupt the App's servers, networks, or infrastructure.

Violations may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination at our sole discretion, without notice or refund.

  1. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to Lobbi (display names, profile pictures, chat messages, ratings). By submitting content, you grant Lobbi a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content within the App for the purpose of providing and improving our services.

You are solely responsible for the content you submit. You represent that you have all necessary rights to the content you upload. Lobbi reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms, without prior notice.

We do not monitor all user content in real time but may review reported content and take action as we deem appropriate.

  1. Subscriptions and Payments

Lobbi offers free and paid subscription tiers (Pro and Elite). Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store ("Store"). Prices are displayed in the App prior to purchase and may vary by region and currency. Payment is charged to your Store account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Store account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same rate. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's Store settings (Apple: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions; Google: Play Store > Subscriptions). No refunds will be provided for partial billing periods. Refunds for subscriptions are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies. Match Pack purchases are one-time consumable purchases and are non-refundable. We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice; price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing period.

Free trial periods, if offered, automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends.

  1. Matchmaking and Ratings

Lobbi uses algorithmic matchmaking based on your persona, gaming preferences, play schedule, and behavioral data. We do not guarantee the quality, compatibility, or outcome of any match or interaction.

Vibe checks, star ratings, and thumbs-up/thumbs-down ratings are part of the community experience. Ratings should be honest and given in good faith. Systematic abuse of the rating system (e.g., coordinated downvoting, rating manipulation) may result in account restrictions or termination.

  1. Blocking and Reporting

You may block or report other users at any time. Blocked users will not appear in your future matches. Reports are reviewed by our team, and we will take appropriate action, which may include warnings, suspensions, or permanent bans.

Filing false or malicious reports may result in action against your own account.

  1. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the App (Profile > Settings > Delete Account). Upon deletion, your profile, match history, messages, ratings, and uploaded content will be permanently deleted. Active subscriptions will not be automatically cancelled or refunded — you must cancel your subscription separately through your Store settings before deleting your account. Anonymized, aggregated data (e.g., overall rating averages) may be retained for analytics purposes. Account deletion is irreversible.

We will process deletion requests promptly and in accordance with applicable law.

  1. Intellectual Property

Lobbi, including its name, logo, design, personas, artwork, matchmaking algorithms, and all associated content, is the intellectual property of Lobbi and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on our App, content, or branding without our prior written permission.

  1. Third-Party Services

Lobbi integrates with third-party services including Firebase (Google), RevenueCat, and Expo. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or availability of third-party services.

  1. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lobbi and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; any loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill; interactions between users, including negative, harmful, or offensive experiences; loss of data due to technical failures; service interruptions or downtime; or actions or omissions of third-party services.

In no event shall our total aggregate liability exceed the greater of (a) the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars ($100).

  1. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lobbi and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

  1. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Lobbi shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation by contacting us at support@lobbi.gg. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may pursue resolution through binding arbitration administered in accordance with the rules of the jurisdiction in which Lobbi operates.

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted on an individual basis and not as a class action, class arbitration, or other representative proceeding.

  1. Apple and Google Specific Terms

You acknowledge and agree that these Terms are between you and Lobbi only, and not with Apple or Google; Lobbi, not Apple or Google, is solely responsible for the App and its content; Apple and Google have no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the App; in the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple or Google for a refund of the purchase price (if any); Apple and Google are not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability claims, consumer protection claims, or intellectual property infringement claims; in the event of any third-party claim that the App infringes a third party's intellectual property rights, Lobbi will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of such claim; and Apple and Google and their subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with the right to enforce them against you.

  1. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

Upon termination, your access to Lobbi will cease immediately, your profile and data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy, and provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive (including Sections 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16).

  1. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via push notification, in-app notice, or email. Your continued use of Lobbi after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the App and delete your account.

  1. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

  1. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Lobbi regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
